Duravo

Being heavily involved with the Entrepreneurship Club allowed me to connect with startups and understand their pain points in marketing. I am passionate about bringing my unique university experiences in marketing and branding to the table. I discovered a startup luggage company Duravo, which had a great quality product and is one of the most lightweight luggage brands with their carry-on suitcase weighing only 5.5 pounds. I reached out to offer a free marketing consulting service and accomplished an understanding of the size and future of the global luggage industry while understanding key brand elements that play as big differentiators in the market. My biggest goal was to create a presentation that gave an industry overview,  a competitors comparison chart, and finally, 2 key strategies that could boost Duravo's brand presence.

 BU Finance and Investment Club

As a junior analyst, I have the opportunity to demonstrate my passion to learn about competitive advantages in AI, Wireless technology, and entertainment. I utilize theoretical and conceptual tools, such as pivot tables and descriptive statistics, to evaluate a public company in the TMT sector . Additionally, I created weekly deliverables to highlight industry growth prospects, projections and new innovations while improving organizational skills and understanding financial processes and procedures. The slides I have included below are what I have contributed towards.

Questrom Course SM131, Introduction to Business Ethics

As a critical part of the SM131 course in Questrom, I accomplished leading a team of 7 to research two pharmaceutical companies: Prestige Consumer Healthcare and Collegium Pharmaceuticals. Collectively, we researched their financial and non-financial components including operations, marketing, and accounting. We also holistically analyzed the environmental and social impact of both selected companies. With conflicting schedules and diversified opinions, I aided in leveraging the full potential and benefit of both in-person and remote teamwork.
